This is what the Exzentrik designer stainless steel fire bowl looks like from the inside

Polished inside and out: Why the Exzentrik designer fire bowl is different

When it comes to a fire bowl, most people look at the outside first. That’s understandable—it’s what catches the eye. But it’s precisely in the places you don’t notice at first glance that you can see just how carefully a piece has truly been crafted. That’s why, with our Exzentrik designer stainless steel fire bowl, we’ve opted for something that’s rare in this form: We polish it by hand—inside and out.

An interior that's a sight to behold

The vast majority of fire bowls on the market are not finished at all, either inside or out. With inexpensive mass-produced items from the Far East, the interior remains rough, unpolished, and unfinished—the main thing is that it looks somewhat presentable from the outside. We see it differently. For us, the interior is just as much a part of the overall look as everything else.

With the Exzentrik, every surface is therefore sanded by hand, section by section. This creates the same vibrant, elegant finish on the inside as on the outside—a look in which light, and in the evening the fire, are reflected in a truly unique way. When the bowl is empty, you can see the fine grain of the wood. When the fire is burning, it takes on a depth and warmth that you simply won’t find with an unfinished interior.

Handcrafted work that shows in the bowl

This look comes at a price—not just financially, but above all in terms of time. Sanding the inside of a fire bowl by hand is labor-intensive and requires experience. It doesn’t happen quickly, and there’s no shortcut. That’s exactly the point: True craftsmanship takes time, and you can see that time reflected in the finished product.

What you end up with, therefore, is not a cookie-cutter mass-produced item, but a piece with character that has been crafted with genuine care. For us, this isn’t a selling point—it’s simply part of who we are. If you promise quality craftsmanship, you should deliver it in every detail—even where no one expects it.

Here, beautiful is also more practical

The polished interior isn't just a matter of aesthetics. It offers a tangible advantage in everyday use: A polished surface is significantly easier to clean than a rough, unpolished interior. Ash and residue don’t stick as much, dirt is easier to remove, and the bowl remains easier to maintain and retains its attractive appearance longer than conventional fire bowls. Elegant and practical at the same time—exactly as a high-quality fire bowl should be.
