Our Exzentrik stainless steel fire bowl has been extensively tested—with a result that we’re particularly pleased about: With a top rating of 1.06 (“Very Good”), the Exzentrik fire bowl took first place in the German fire bowl rankingsand was named the test winner.

In an in-depth practical test on RTL.de, our fire bowl was tested outdoors under realistic conditions. The focus was not only on the design and technical specifications, but above all on the build quality, stability, ease of use, and suitability for everyday use.

What was tested in the “Steel Art: Eccentricity” project?

During the field test, eccentricity was closely examined in various areas. These included, among others:

High-quality craftsmanship made of solid stainless steel

An important part of the test was the evaluation of the eccentricity. Among other things, the welds, edges, surfaces, and the overall design were examined.

The eccentric is made of 3-mm-thick V2A stainless steel. The substantial material thickness ensures a high-quality feel and a robust construction. The fully welded base frame was also examined more closely during testing.

The combination of the round fire bowl and the distinctive geometric base makes the Exzentrik not only a fire pit, but also a modern design element for the garden and patio.

Stable base thanks to its solid construction

Stability also played an important role in the field test. The eccentric machine features a fully welded base frame with four support points positioned far outward.

In testing, the design proved to be extremely sturdy and stable. Thanks to its solid construction and substantial weight, the fire bowl stands securely in its intended location.

No assembly required

Another advantage of Stahlkunst Exzentrik: The fire bowl is delivered fully assembled and welded.

There's no need to screw on legs or assemble individual parts. Once unpacked, the eccentric can be set up and used right where you want it.

Field Test with a Real Wood Fire

Of course, the fire bowl wasn't judged solely on its appearance. In a practical test, the Exzentrik was lit with dry firewood.

Among other things, the tests examined how the firewood can be arranged in the fire bowl, how the fire bowl behaves during use, and how stable the entire structure remains even with a real wood fire.

The spacious, round fire bowl offers plenty of room for firewood and lets you enjoy the classic campfire experience on your patio or in your garden.

Use with coal was also tested

In addition to firewood, the Exzentrik steel art piece was also tested in practice using coal.

Here, too, the size and depth of the fire bowl provide ample space and allow for versatile use.

Cleaning and Care Put to the Test

After use, we also tested how easy it was to clean the fire bowl.

Once the unit has cooled completely, ash residue can be removed and the stainless steel surfaces can be cleaned with appropriate cleaning agents.

Optional accessories, such as an ash tray, can make cleaning even easier.

More than just a fire pit

The test also made it clear that the Stahlkunst Exzentrik does not function like a traditional portable fire bowl. Thanks to its solid construction, unique appearance, and superb stainless steel finish, it instead becomes a lasting design element in the garden.
